Fortunately, being metrics belonging to Google, we can visualize the performance of our site in several of their free tools. For example, you can access them from Search Console or Page Speed Oman Email Database.
Well, let’s see the tools that will help you measure Core Web Vitals in a simple and easy way. Remember, all Google tools are already prepared to show these metrics and inform us of the errors to be solved.
1) Search Console
We can now see the report in Search Console from the left menu of our account, specifically in the area of ”Experience”> “Main web metrics” and clicking on “Open Report”.
Search Console core metrics
Here you will see a segmentation between pages “Slow”, “Need an improvement” and “Fast”.
The tool reminds us to take priority with the “Slow” pages, so in an optimization journey start with these URLs.
Then you can turn your attention to the pages that “need improvement.”
CLS in Search Console
In the “details” area you have 5 columns divided into:
Status: slow pages, need improvement or fast.
Type: problem with CLS, LCP, or FID.
Validation: to verify the changes.
Trend: short chart.
URL: number of URLs with this problem.
URL analysis in Search Console
Once you know which URL to work with, you will know which ones share the same error by clicking on it.
Next, a right tab titled “Sample Information” will open, annotate those pages and supplement your analysis with the following tool.
2) PageSpeed Insights
PageSpeed Insights shows us field and lab performance on both mobile and desktop devices.
It is an excellent option to observe the group of pages that need optimization, in addition to taking advantage of the opportunities per page in order to improve the user experience.
In the PageSpeed results we can clearly see whether or not a page complies with the Core Web Vitals, the LCP and the CLS will always appear in all analyzes highlighted with a blue ribbon.
Core Web Vitals at Page Speed
You can use Lighthouse by installing its extension for Chrome, this tool performs a general analysis of the site creating 4 reports between “Performance”, “Accessibility”, “Best practices” and “SEO”.
Core Web Vitals at Lighthouse
Being a laboratory tool and not a field tool, it does not return a report with an FID, since a real user is needed for that.
Although by optimizing the Total Blocking Time (TBT) we will be working indirectly with the FID, since they have a certain relationship.
If we go to the calculator, we will have a clearer view of the metrics with the most weight.
The order of the metrics from highest to lowest would be as follows:
TBT (Total Blocking Time)> 25%.
LCP (Largest Contentful Paint)> 25%.
FCP (First Contentful Paint)> 15%.
YES (Speed Index)> 15%.
TTI (Time to Interactive) 15%.
CLS (Cumulative Layout Shift) 5%.

As you can see, TBT is one of the most important metrics, it represents 25% of the total analysis, therefore, it is key to keep it optimized.
On the other hand, the CLS only corresponds to 5%.
Obviously don’t be surprised if these parameters are overridden in future versions of Lighthouse, just as they were at the time.
4) Web Vitals Chrome
Chrome Core Web Vitals extension
Web Vitals is another extension for Google Chrome, this tool measures in real time the LCP, FID and CLS, the 3 metrics that make up the Core Web Vitals.
It is a good alternative to detect all the inconveniences that arise during the development of the web and its constant performance evaluations.
5) SE Ranking
Free trial SE Ranking for 14 days
SE Ranking, has recently renewed its analysis formula, polishing various aspects and including new ones such as Core Web Vitals to compete against the major benchmarks in the sector.
Core Web Vitals in SE Ranking
If you are a newbie in the world of web optimization, you will have no problem identifying errors that require a quick solution.
They explain it in detail in their article. In the report they will tell you how to solve the problems according to their classification. For example, if it is an error, a warning, or a warning.
The Semrush team got down to business when they learned of Google’s new implementation of Core Web Vitals.
They currently have a beta version where they measure the metrics using Lighthouse, instead of providing the FIB they offer us the TBT, because it is not possible to get field data under laboratory conditions socialposts.
