In general, the valuation of the moment to buy products and services has improved 12 points compared to the previous quarter and Germany Email Lists, except in the case of food and home and life insurance -which undergo slight adjustments- all products improve their valuation, in some cases in a very significant way.
The growth in the valuation of all products related to leisure and tourism is very noteworthy, which until the previous quarter were at very negative levels. General leisure and Cinemas and shows managed to enter positive values and Weekend trips and Going out to bars and restaurants, although still negative, are close to positive and show growth of 57 and 45 points respectively. Long vacations or a cruise, meanwhile, continue to have a worse purchase intention (-45.5) but have nevertheless managed to improve by 36 points.
Teresa de Ledesma, Associate Marketing Director of Kantar’s Insights division comments: “With the advance of vaccinations and the arrival of summer, we observe a significant growth in the intention to consume products and leisure and tourism activities. We will have to see how this figure evolves once the summer period has passed and the effect of the fifth wave of the pandemic ”.
69% believe that the smartest attitude now is to maintain consumption levels
The attitude towards consumption also returns to normal, reaching levels prior to the pandemic and the majority opinion is that the smartest attitude right now is to maintain consumption levels (69%).
Despite this, a quarter of Spaniards still think that it is better to reduce them and when comparing the data with the pre-crisis period, the number of people who consider that it is better to increase their consumption decreases.
In times of crisis, security is an important factor and the idea of comparing between well-known brands increases 3 points, while the preference for private labels grows notably. Thus, 4 out of 10 Spaniards are inclined to buy private labels because they are cheaper and the guarantee they offer.
Despite the improvement in the situation, there are still times of uncertainty and the level of those who believe that it is best to search for new brands remains at 0 socialposts.
