Innovative Tap Solutions (ITS) has designed a beverage dispensing technology, marketed under the Pour My Beverage brand, that Restalia Holding -100 Montaditos, La Sureña, TGB, Panther and Pepe Taco- will test in Spain through a strategic alliance with Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.
The pilot test at Restalia Brands stores will be the first to be implemented in the restaurant sector in Western Europe. Specifically, the first device has been installed in 100 Montaditos of the TresAguas de Alcorcón shopping center, in Madrid.
With the self-service to dispense drinks, queues and contagions are avoided
The technology designed by ITS allows the installation of a self-service system to dispense drinks from the products marketed by Coca-Cola. Thus, consumers can serve their refreshments, which allows them to avoid waiting lines and helps waiters avoid unnecessary contacts.
“The new divisions of Restalia Holding are allowing us to specialize and strengthen each business area, in order to offer a better service to our franchisees and clients. The objective is to innovate and study new ways to offer the best service, that is why we have not hesitated to implement Autofill with Coca-Cola in 100 Montaditos, to speed up self-service consumption ”, says Ana Martínez, Corporate Director of Restalia.
The objective of Restalia is to continue innovating in order to offer new formulas and that consumers can choose how and when to enjoy the experiences in their establishments.
For his part, Craig Twyford, Co-founder of CCEP Ventures -the innovation investment fund of Coca-Cola Europacific Partners- points out that “we are always looking for alternatives beyond traditional packaging, which constitute new ways in which people can enjoy our drinks. ITS is a great example of how we use technology to help our customers sell and distribute our products in different ways. “

In addition, this initiative represents another advance in the “Moving Forward” sustainability strategy for Western Europe. Coca-Cola is committed to investing and innovating in refillable and dispensing models to reduce the use of containers whenever possible and eliminate the waste generated.
“One key is to investigate new partnerships and investments to accelerate innovation in sustainable packaging and how we can distribute more beverages while using less packaging. ITS gives us the opportunity to explore and test new packaging-free dispensing solutions and, together with other processes, to create a circular economy model that will help us reduce, reuse and recycle our packaging, ”added Twyford socialposts.
