In a press conference this morning, Hoffman confirmed the postponement of the Mobile World Congress 2021, which will take place from June 28 to July 1. According to statements offered to La Vanguardia, he has assured that at the moment they have a commitment of 78% of the 100 largest companies in the sector worldwide, and considers that in June they will be able to reach 80% or 85%.
The Shanghai MWC also changes its dates and will be held from February 23 to 25, 2021.
Last April, the MWC organization extended the contract of permanence in the city of Barcelona in compensation for the cancellation of this year and confirmed that the event will continue to be held in Barcelona until 2024.
