This is how forcefully expressed José María Sánchez, Technical Secretary of TDLE (Telephone of Hope), a volunteer and social action NGO that promotes the emotional health of people, and that attends especially to those in crisis situations by calling 717 003 717.

For this reason, with the help of Publicis Spain, it has launched an advertising campaign based on a strategy on social networks with Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as the main axes.
The campaign, which seeks to join the conversation on social media during the summer period, starts with the popular hashtag #HereSuffering to give visibility to the problems of depression and anxiety.

Globally, depression is the fourth leading cause of illness among adolescents and anxiety the ninth, according to WHO data. In recent months, more than 4,000 calls to the TDLE have been identified by young people between the ages of 14 and 27 with suicidal intentions.
For this reason, TDLE’s work is urgent and with this campaign they have wanted to achieve two communication objectives: notoriety, connecting with the youngest target -often indifferent or distracted by this type of solution- and engagement.

According to José María Sánchez, from TDLE: “With this campaign we want to make Spanish society and public administrations aware of the need to invest in prevention and intervention plans in this area. But, above all, we want to send each citizen, especially the youngest, a clear message: “If you feel unwell, ask for help socialposts.”
